Blood of Sanguinius

Chief Librarian Mephiston, the Lord of Death who alone mastered the Black Rage, journeys to a shrine world that has vanished from the Astronomican's light and fallen into religious civil war. Drawn by the hope of understanding his own survival of the Flaw, he and his honour guard descend into a conflict over a relic said to be wrought by the Emperor.
