Morvenn Vahl: Spear of Faith

When a fallen warlord and his Night Lords descend on the cardinal world of Ophelia VII, the Abbess Sanctorum Morvenn Vahl defies the High Lords of Terra to lead the Sisters of Battle in its defence. Torn between her duty as a warrior-crusader and the cold politics of her office, she must rally the faithful and even the power of Living Saints to stand against the slaughter. The novel pairs furious Sororitas action with a character study of one of the Imperium's most senior figures.
