Steel Daemon

After his Marauder bomber is shot down, a traumatized young airman finds an unlikely refuge aboard a Cadian Leman Russ battle tank, joining its cynical, battle-worn crew as a raw gunner. Cut off from their lines amid the horrors of the Crimson Slaughter during the 13th Black Crusade, the tankers must endure and survive against relentless Chaos butchery. Ian St Martin delivers a gritty, claustrophobic armored-warfare novella from the perspective of the Imperial Guard.
